What happened to King and Diesel from Simon Trucking?

    I looooove Dick Simon. I sooooo wanted to drive for him, just never did. I was based out of Utah. I tried Kelles but never got anywhere. I didnt know about Back in Black which was King who just passed, as did Diesel. My condolences to Dick Simon and family. Loved these guys! I got into trucking because of this family. Rest in peace Dick Simon Jr and Diesel

    I remember in 2000 or 2001 all of those Dick Simon Fld's delivering to the Food Lion warehouse in Salisbury NC

    2001 is when one of their disgruntled driver drove his truck up the steps of the state capital building in California. Truck and driver burned up. That was the beginning of the end for Dick Simon.

    I don't have a confirmation either, but I am 99% sure that it was not a traffic accident. Very tragic for the family, and I wish them the best.
