The engine will most likely derate , truck may have to be towed , boss will be very pissed

Google nearest truck place , call them , get some DEF in the tank before the company
    gets involved

Get to the nearest truck stop ASAP and fill it up to avoid serious issues.

Think it more likely a tow company would come out with a box or two of blue-def before the truck was towed...

This is from my visor on my Volvo 780. I'm going to assume it's pretty much the same for all DEF/SCR trucks.

    Solid DEF warning lamp

    The DEF tank is low

    Refill the DEF tank

    Flashing DEF warning lamp

The DEF tank is empty. Engine is in derate mode.

Refill the DEF tank now (before adding diesel)

The DEF warning light is flashing + warning message on driver display

The DEF tank is empty. Vehicle is limited to 5 mph.

Refill the DEF tank now (before operating vehicle)

So you have some time to get it filled up once it's empty before you are FUBAR.
