Yup, it probably at one time meant a mixed load containing a variety of stuff, but now means I'm too lazy to call and find out what it is.

I'm assuming FAK will never be a hazmat load, but I could he wrong. Just general freight
beastr123 and slow.rider Thank this. -
That could be a sign that the broker no idea what it is or is something no one wants to haul.
Dino soar, God prefers Diesels, slow.rider and 2 others Thank this. -
When it was regulated it was class/weight/break. After regulation, FAK/weight/break As it moved more to rate per mile regardless of class, FAK stuck.
God prefers Diesels, Cat sdp, slow.rider and 1 other person Thank this. -

I give a broker one chance, occasionally, on FAK. If the rest of the load looks good I'll call. After my initial questions like schedule, I say "Hey, says freight all kinds. What's the commodity?"
"I don't know, it's freight all kinds."
OK, you want to sell it but you don't even know what it is, so you don't know the customer or anything at all about it. Next you're going to tell me that the dock is quick, this dock that moves freight that is a mystery to you. You've told me everything I need to know. Thanks, bye.fordconvert, Dino soar, God prefers Diesels and 1 other person Thank this. -
I thought it was always proceeded by "What The..." FAK
God prefers Diesels Thanks this.
