I am looking for a used 53' Dry van with swing doors and a tuck-under liftgate. I found a dealer where I live that is getting in an '03 Strick with a tuck-under liftgate. What are your thoughts on the Strick trailers in general as well as parts availability, service, etc? I would rather have a used Utility, Great Dane or Wabash, but used 53' dry vans with tuck-under liftgates are tough to come by.
What do you guys think of Strick Dry Van trailers?

I think they are the heaviest dry van you can buy.

Never used one with a lift gate, but in general they're pretty durable fleet trailers. We used them almost exclusively in the Northeast due to frequent roof issues with newer Wabash trailers (snow pack on dropped or staged trailers )

Great Dane is usually a heavier trailer. But hands down a better built trailer. Not saying utility strick or wabash won't give you a lot of good years. But as they get up around that 15 yr old mark. Danes just hold up better.
