Sorry you had trouble. I am in training, finishing up my
second week. I had to get self employment verified and jump
thru some hoops but Everyone in my group made it past
the past employment hurdles. We only lost two on day one
due to medical issues. They both get the chance to come back
once those issues are addressed.
My experiance is that this is a great company, if you can verify
past employment and can pass the medical part, then you can
expect many miles and higher than average pay.
What do they do in US Xpress orientation?

Everyone will probably have some issues, but WTF is with not being able to prove your own work history???
You know you're going to have to do it, so do it before you go to orientation instead of crying like a little ##### when you can't get it together at the last second.
Moral of the story, as I've said before, fax or email everything before you go to orientation and bring copies of everything with you in case there is a problem.
Next, orientation pay is all paid at one time with the exception of the $50 advance they give you as soon as you are hired, someone who couldn't get hired wouldn't know this, so just pipe down about it already.
Also, all you people asking about the drug testing, just stay off the road if you can't stay off the drugs and you won't have to worry about it. I'm sure your local gas station needs an attendant and that is probably a more suitable job for you anyways...Last edited by a moderator: Jul 14, 2012

I also was thinking if either you or your partner thought that you might just maybe have to verify your employment history at some point?
I'm sure that it would be easy enough to do unless you were running as some wildcat team operation. It would just never cross my mind to think that some other random guy at the orientation saying that I worked for him would qualify as proof of employment. I'm truly sorry if your foresight didn't go that far.
I understand that maybe you like to shave your head, but typically someone who has no worries of failing a drug test would ever get to that point of concern over it. If you have no hair, they will figure it out, so why worry?
Using your logic, with 13 years, you must be a pretty big boy, but if you must know, I'm 5'11" and currently weighing in at 220. That's probably a little over weight, but hey, I have a job and can afford to eat. Why are you asking, though? I'm not interested, no homo.
Good luck and good day sir.Last edited by a moderator: Jul 14, 2012
