Ok, as the week draws to a close, I'm curious what we all got around the country, either from customers or your employer.

From the BNSF railway, several of my coworkers got a nice thermos (the ran out 5 trucks before me)

From my bosses, I got a neat flashlight, $50 grocery store gift cards, Omaha steaks 4pk of top sirloins and a 4 pk of twice baked potato

From another customer I got a hug and kiss from one of the secretaries (debating if I should have screamed sexual harassment)

From my Facebook friends, after I posted what this week, I got about 15 likes and several thank yous

    Nothing this year.

Last year a car pulled up next to me as I was driving, and stayed next to me.
When I looked over the girl in the passenger seat lifted up her shirt.

But, that's it for 'driver appreciation week' in the past 5 years.

I got a bag of really good snacks from a reciver that doesn't get a lot of trucks in, I was shocked. Before that I had never even got a cup of coffee or a thank you.

I got a stupid hat from the manager of the pilot in Birmingham walking around the fuel island handing them out.

A couple of robocalls from the bigwigs at the main office.

A table full of snacks at the main terminal.

That was about it. Business as usual. Good miles, big paycheck out Monday home Friday. Home all weekend. I'll take it.
