What are the companies that hire 21 year olds and provides their own training?

I would go online and type in cdl a trucking companies and just see what it pulls up or type a list of trucking companies and also class a drivers site has a list of trucking co and check bubbas list

 

Also check Prime, Schneider and *cringes* Werner. Most of the Schneider drivers I talk to are pretty happy. My ex-brother-in-law has been with them for over 15 years and still likes it.

 

Google "trucking jobs" and it will come up and suggest jobs in your area and the usual. Here are a few sites off the top of my head

Many local companies that haul beer, soda, liquor, food, ect, Even some ltl's .......Will hire a 21 year old,...And train you,...

You might have to be a drivers helper for awhile but when it's all said and done you will get payed for all time training,....

AND,..........You get to go home after work!!

 

Yeah definately try local cdl jobs they hire 21 yr olds

Lupe, I have been unemployed for 1 1/2 years and Prime said they will not hire me either. They say they require 3 years of work history...I have 20+ years of work history....but what they really mean is they require 3 years of steady previous/current work history. Since I have self employed for the last 2 years with little or no work(construction), In Michigan, (state with the highest unemployment rate) They will not hire me. I personally think this is BS but what can you do? Find a better company.
