I'm working for a company that will let me lump my own loads for nearly the full price of whatever the lumper was asking. Have any of you experimented with shoes that may be good for the aluminum floors inside reefers?

When the floor frosts over it doesn’t matter what shoe you have on. If you can afford a electric jack,buy one. Most places you’ll be able to work a side deal with a lumper or freight runner.

Just the standard fuel resistance soles. (Oil resistance etc)
Once in a great while the pallets would be a great threat rather than slipping, big splinters ram into that steel toe. It would have been possible to lose that foot now and then several times.David Schwarz and Tall Mike Thank this. -
