I'm looking at getting into this but do not want to get tied up in a big loan for a new truck and have been looking at older 3500s to get started with. While they are hard to find there are a few of them out there. Do any of you guys run with pre-2007 3500HD Dually Silverados? Any 2500HDs? Just looking at some for some insights/advice into different trucks. I know GM Vehicles the best but they do not offer a 4500 version of their trucks currently and while they look cool a Topkick/kodiak doesn't seem like it is practical. Thanks!
What are good starter trucks for new hot shotters?

for durability and reliability, pulling power and torque get yourself a dodge 3500 cummins. duramax and powerstroke are junk. you never hear of a tractor, semi or whatever you want to call it with a duramax or powerstroke but they do have them with cummins engines.
