What are "D.O.T. cops"?

They are the ones who have been trained to make ##$% up as they go. I got a warning for a low tire the other day, the D O T officer went inside to get a tire gauge, when he got back he looked at the tire and asked how to check the pressure. I am telling the absolute truth. You can't make that up, I just looked at him and said " beats me I just drive the thing ". I wanted to say so much more, you can't believe how much restraint I had to put forth.
