I’d lean towards the Western Star personally, but who has the best dealer network out there? I’d personally stay away from the Paccar motor as well. Just my opinion, and I’m a WS guy

The best Dealer network is Cummins , but we have some good WS dealers in Saskatchewan too.

You buy the Paccar and ill track u down and beat you. Cummings, not much better....all the ISXs are getting rebuilt at 4-600k. Why? POS engine design. A reason theyre not giving u a warrenty.

The warranty on the Isx is just done this month.
I have a diagnostic tools with Cummins insite and I put on the truck and nothing wrong. I work before with Cummins engines and I am comfortable to fix them.
But I Don t know If I want to go with detroit, my only problem with detroit is I don't have a dealership near to my home.
    Thanks for your help .

To the op, this is may, by the time you do the due diligence with all three of those trucks, it will be the Middle of June.

    Really?

    REALLY?

I have Cummins ISX engines in all my WS and only three of them ever had been rebuilt under 600k miles.

5700 only has the disposable detroit on em. Shouldnt have much issue with t680 with cummins other than emission b.s. than having paccar motor with pricey parts.

I really like those 5700.. just not a fan of the boat anchor under the hood or freightliner auto.. it’s no ishift.. put a big x15 in the 5700 and that would be a heck of a Truck..
