Well back to doing a Peddle route! 3rd times the charm?

    Well folks, crazey tried the OTR tanker route! Lasted 2 1/2 days on my own after training. Came off the road 3 weeks ago. Been looking for local gigs in that time. About 8-10 days ago I applied to YRC here on LI, did all the pre-employment stuff and got the call at lunch time today! :biggrin_255: I start at 8am in the morning! Very happy to be working again and sleep in own bed every night! Working outta Deer Park, NY only doing Suffolk= Priceless! Thanks for listening! Crazey-out!

    Good luck on the job at YRC. I really enjoyed the people I met working there and hopefully you will as well. YRC is getting it together finally so things should be improving. Their extremely busy right now and figure working at the minimum of 10 hours. Most likely will be 12 but either way your getting overtime after 8, your home everyday and not sleeping in a tin can.
