just wondering which app do you all use to "find" or "know" where the official dot weigh stations are along the routes... too often our Garmin GPS fails to display properly the nearest truck stop to weigh the truck and the problem we want to avoid is that if in between where the load gets picked up and the next love/ta/pilot there is a dot weigh station, we are screwed.. using android maps to find the dot stations is just not smart... i am not interested on those apps that you have to pay to bypass the station(eventually in time i will get that) but rather an app that can tell me the dot weigh station locations. thanks

There's an app listed here already called "Trucker Path" (no 's' in there guys). It's icon is a blue square with a white H-like thing.
Don't use to to figure your route, but it will give you its best guess at a decent "path", and you can have it show you chicken coops, cat scales, parking, ta/petro/flyinh j/pilot/loves, mom n pop places, rest areas, turn-outs, walmarts, etc. The list goes on. It's biggest use to me is in finding a place to park for my 10. I put where I'm going as the "from" and where I'm leaving from as the "To", and I can see how far from my receiver I'll be. It's friggin great. Have a go at it; its free.Lepton1 Thanks this. -
Trucker path by far one of the most, if not the most useful Trucking app. Everything from speedco’s to dealers to mom and pops and just plain fuel stops.
