I've searched high and low and can't seem to find any answers to my problem.
I have a webasto airtop heater for the bunk. The problem seems random. One night it will work great. Then the next night...I will turn it on with the dial in the bunk and the green light comes on. It will lightly blow ambient air but that's it.
It doesn't click...doesn't blow any harder...no fault codes. Nothing. Just a green light and light cool air.
At first I thought...maybe it's not cold enough to kick on. But last night I woke up freezing and it still wasn't running.
I've tried turning it off and on again and again. Can't make it go...or at least give me fault code. Just a straight green light.
I'm out of ideas because sometimes it'll start clicking right away and work great. And sometimes it's useless.
    Any suggestions?

Are you noticing some smoke from the exhaust when you try to use it? Are you hearing the clicking sound from the fuel pump?

I have one that did something similar because it wasn't igniting at all. I'd see the smoke, hear the clicking and see fuel dripping at the exhaust.

Wound up replacing the igniter and screen assembly. They can get coked up after some time.

No that's the weird part is the fuel pump doesn't even click like it's trying to start. At least if it would give me a fault code...I'd have an idea where to start. And it's intermittent. It might work tonight and then not work the night after.

I kinda had a similar problem with mine. Turn dial on, green light would come on and stay on, but no fan nor fuel pump. No codes. Took the unit out of the truck and noticed that the fuel pump harness coming out of the intake port had rubbed through. I think that was my fuel pump problem. My no fan problem took a new harness.

    skman Thanks this.

I have that problem sometimes. If I cover the intake or outlet with my Hand and let pressure build up for a second, and repeat a few times ,it starts burning hot... Sometimes.

Check intake hose/under bunk where it sucks in cold air into heater. Make sure intake is clean, dirt build up will prevent it from working right.

Air bubbles in the fuel filter? They can have trouble if the filter isn't horizontally level.
