I live in the Tacoma Area here in Washington State. I am wondering; are there any flat bed companies here on the west side of the cascades that will hire someone with only 4500 miles under there belt. Hauling dry van that used to work for Swift. Flat bed has always been where I want my career to go with trucking. I've researched a few companies like Roehl, Melton, and McElroy but there east coast companies. I'm looking for something in the areas of:
Puyallup
Sumner
Auburn
Kent
Federal Way
Fife
Tacoma
Spanaway
Bonney Lake
Orting
Black Diamond
Lakewood
Parkland
University Place
If anyone has any input I would appreciate it.
Thanks,
-C

System Transport, one of the best in the USA.
steelhorse61 Thanks this. -
Is that a company that will hire new drivers with low miles, I basically only have 2 months of driving. Technically I drove 95% of the 4500 miles in a week and half at Swift. I drove my ### off for my mentor to find out I got crap for pay. Then left for a few different reasons.

Check the trans-system website; it's an umbrella company for 3 trucking companies that hire new drivers, including System Transport.steelhorse61 Thanks this. -

James J. Williams Bulk Service Transport -
You can apply online if you want; then you won't have to deal with that part in the morning.

I'm curious; is there any other flat bed companies on the west side of the mountains though? Spokane is the east side of the cascades. I wish there was a company on this side I could go too.
Thanks,

I know there is a company between Bonney Lake and Buckley on 410. On the left just before Buckley, kind of across the hwy from the carwash. I do not recall the name but if you're out that way you can't miss it. Might try Bill Bremmeyer's up in Ravensdale too, a smaller company but might have something? He is a super good guy to work for. I worked next door and we rented the bodyshop from him.
