Washington DC hotel/motel that has truck parking

    gotta head out in a few for DC, and i am going to have to eat a one day lay over. not a big deal really, but i want i was wondering if anyone knows of a hotel/motel near DC that has parking for a CMV.

    the reason i want it kind of close is i plan on visiting the smithsonian on sunday and i will have to take a cab there.

    i run a daycab so i stay in motels every night...as close i ever get to DC is beltsville md ..i have stayed at the holiday inn in beltsville a couple of times ...

    Might be a little late now but if you're coming from the South your best bet is in Springfield or Woodbridge, Va. Once you head up I395 truck options are very limited.

    The Days Inn at 6100 Richmond Hwy, Alexandria works too. There are car rental places nearby or you can take a cab up to the city and do the MetroLink from there.
