Do you want to drive locally or over the road? How is your driving record?

Like about 20 years of driving. Sorry, but heavy hauling is one of the most demanding trucking jobs, and not a carrier in the world will hire a newbie.( if you are a newbie, that is) I don't blame you for setting your sites high, but you have to start at the beginning. Road construction really is a must, as most heavy haul stuff is machines. Sorry, that's the way it is.

We all have our dreams of romantic jobs with no downside, where people look up to us. Spend some time reading these forums for a down-to-earth reality check, my friend.

Maybe start with someone like System Transport or Anderson Trucking Service. Work your way through their various fleets, up to heavy haul
TMC also has a coveted fleet pulling large John Deere equipment and a boat hauling fleet that requires seniority that begins with regular flatbed fleet. -
Look into Valley Transportation Service also, but be advised the reviews on this outfit are mixed..

Put your location on your profile so drivers can give advice to you.
Some companies have already been mentioned, but there's more that hire new cdl grads if you're in the hiring area:
Leavitt's Freight Service
Transport National
