I want to warn everyone about the Walmart DC 6065 in Harrisonville, MO.

If you get detention pay while there and need to have your paper work time stamped!

Watch these guys. They falsified the times on my paper work yesterday .
I got into the office at 1510 the papers were stamped 1545.
They then show that my paperwork was complete at 1705. I was not called till 1756, I walked straight over there to get my paperwork, gave them the commcheck and the time on the receipt for the lumper fees (I was standing right there watching him print it out) was 1655. So when I asked the fat ####### how come the time on the receipt was 15 minutes before the paper work was done, he closed the window on me.

Anyway, long story short, cover your ##### when your there!

If you are going to do any Wal-Mart DC and try to get detention you muct do this--they pretty much all do the same and has everything with their internal policies--it's all BS--if you really want to laugh--look at the sections marked by receiver--they call time unloading started and time finished--that might really crack you up after you've been there a few hours.

oh I know... I had to wait at one Walmart for 5 hours be the turd that unloaded the trailer folded the papers up and put them in his back pocket. Unloaded another trailer, and went home. I had to wait for him to bring the papers back to the office before I could leave... that was when I was with my trainer and he never tried fore detention...

I been to most Walmarts but I haven't been to that one. They must have a goofball manager. There's a few that have different standards when it comes to unloading. Most will give about six drivers the same appt time. Then that group will check out at the same time too. They'll stamp the paperwork as soon as they are done unloading but they will hold on to it until all those six trucks are done. Usually around the two hour mark. Our company allows them three hours and many times I'm there 2:55. :) Only once have I received detention. I brought in a cross dock load. 17 pallets that broke down to 326 pallets, lol. One woman had the pleasure. It took her seven hours.

Like skibum said, if there's a conflict, I'll write the time before my signature. You can't do that!! I just did, lol.

sounds like typical wally world bs to me....they're kinda like UPS (even longer story as a long-time contractor for them)....no matter what mistake is made, it's never theirs and ALWAYS yours......as much as times and things change, some things always remain the same.....i was in management for wally world for too many years at 6015 in laurens, sc before i got the good sense to walk away from them.....i sure hope to hell i never have to deliver to that place...no telling how long they'll make me wait....i'm sure they still remember me there after the 5 page letter of resignation i gave them lol and no telling which of the little brown-nosers that i pissed off are running the show there now....and this was in the early to mid-90's but i still remember the way they treated drivers back then and remember thinking at the time it just wasn't right and what, if anything, was ever done or could be done about it....considering the clout they have i doubt very much then or now

Mallwart, gotta love 'em. Still shop there? I'll go without before I do. The only mallwart loads I ever had that weren't some sort of cluster ###% were drop and hooks, and even then I was waiting for the grass clipping manager or some other drone to "correct and report" me for some "violation" of the high school principal. Simpletons at their finest, but what can you expect for a place that has a manager for everything. I hate mallwart.
Ever watch them slam trailers around? None of those say mallwart on the side, do they?

Yep. They get you every time on their "Trailer Control and DC Record" or whatever it is. They stamp that a minute or two after your time so you can't get detention.

They tried to screw me on a number of occasions. As soon as I saw the game they were playing, I called my company and told them mallwart was lying. They were very familiar with that tactic from these idiots. They must have taken my word for it, because my company always paid it. Maybe I was just lucky.
What's interesting, I hauled into a number of Sam's stores, usually loads for two stores on my truck. I was always treated very nicely at a Sam's. Just what is mallwarts problem?
