Okay so sitting at the truck stop, started getting hot so, AC time right... Nope. The blower motor stopped on me. I figure that the resistor was bad before because I only had high speed. The blower was working last night when I shut it down.

I tested the switch with a new one and didn't change anything. I noticed that switch has power on three prongs until I flip the switch. Then all three lose power on all settings.

I checked fuses and relays and all's good.

The resistor has no power on any of the wires or prongs.

When I flip the speed switch off and on, I hear a click under the hood but I do not know where from.

    Any ideas?

Guess it didn't stop on me, it just never came back on when I started the truck.

Click is probably a resettable fuse or relay popping my guess is blower may be drawing to much current from being worn out or possibly plugged a bit with junk w900 is like a t600 no filter so junk gets sucked in through the air holes

Blower mother quit, they get dirty eats brushes and bushings out. Turn on switch in cabla and then tap on Blower cover under hood most of the time it will start spinning and will be hit and miss till relaced.....happens to mine about every 3 to 4 years parts just aren't made like they used to be..

Thanks for the replies! I'm going to wait till I can get it back to the house Tuesday. I tried beating on the box but it was a no go.

In St. Louis I by chance turned out on and I felt air was happy till I turned on the AC and rolled up the windows.... It was air from the open wing window blowing on the vent. Sad day =(

    I'll update what I find.

While taking the blower out I smacked the housing and it started working so I knew I was onto something. You can see what I found, I took it apart and cleaned it up, oiled and set it back in. I let it run while I cleaned up tools, etc. Jumped in and felt it and sadly there was hardly any air coming out of the vents =( So I turned it off and back on and it wouldn't restart. So I replaced it with a new blower motor and now that bad boy blows from places that I didn't even know there were vents!

Might want to invest in a cab air filter kit. Just screws on over the mesh screen by the passenger side air breather. 02-091301_1_n.jpg
