I have a standard bumper with two tow hitch holes and was wondering what is different with the mounting of the bumper style with the one big center tow hook. The white truck picture is my truck

probably the same with a moose bumper,
install a subframe to accept the new bumper -
A heavy steel ft. crossmember is built to go under bumper the stock crossmember will bend the 1st time you hook to it
Gambino1994 Thanks this. -
The front hangers for the front springs are different too....(I think )
Gambino1994 Thanks this. -
I figured there was a heavy mount behind the bumper. I didn't think about the spring hangers being different but now that I think of it your probably right. I've had the truck two years, I just like the single big hook my 379 had over these two

Probably the best you can do is get 2 of those slide in hooks. And if your really stuck use both and hope for the best....

Here is a product that ties in both sides plus you still have a center hook to pull from. Not sure if this would be something your interested in or not. Only thing is it doesn't look factory but it would get you out of a bind if your stuck really good.
baha Thanks this. -
Here's what I built. A little much for road use but when I get stuck I get stuck big so I don't want to be pulling on just one rail.TGUNKEL and Gambino1994 Thank this.
