I have no power to my cab marker lights up top of cab. I was gonna change the lights and I took one off and it took me a few weeks to find the correct light(ive been off 2 months). According to the fuse panel, unless they put it elsewhere, there is no fuse in the spot where it says marker lights.....I don't know where to start. How do I access the wiring under the wiring under those lights? The hole isn't but about the size of a quarter.
Its a 2016 w900 glider.....

There is a spot in the fuse box for marker lights with no fuse in it?
If so put a fuse in that spot and see if that fixes the problem.
I have seen fuses fall out of the terminals in KW fuse boxes.Bean Jr. Thanks this. -
I thought the same thing but being I hadn't driven it in over 2 months I didn't think that would help. And it was working a few weeks ago when I went to take one off so I can buy a similar one.

Some of the new fuses the terminals where they plug in are quite a bit thinner than the older fuses.
Makes for more incidence of fuses making poor connection falling out and burning out the fuse socket.Last edited: Jan 6, 2021

Could also be a bad switch. If you have a multimeter check for continuity.

Easiest way is put meter on diode symbol if you have it. If not put it on ohms looking for whatever it reads as a dead short.nikmirbre Thanks this. -
Put the fuse in and see if the lights work before you dig any deeper.

Are you hooked to a trailer?
Unplug the cord to isolate the truck.
Years ago I had a trailer that had a bad wiring repair and was just a ball of green corrosion.
Lost all marker lights on the truck.nikmirbre Thanks this.
