W900 grill question

    We have a 1987 KW W900 and the chrome around the grill on one side is peeling and rusting. I found replacement pieces and they look the same as what we have on there now. Does anyone know if ours would be the same as newer ones or did they change??

    I'm almost sure there the same. I would call somewhere like Raneys.com (or any parts shop) and ask them. Their website doesn't say to specify years on an order.

    I've been wanting to replace mine. I polished mine but its still not how I want it to look.

    I am about 99 percent sure the grill surround for an 87 W900B is the same up until the mid 90's or later on a flat windshield W900B. 99 percent sure they won't interchange with grill surrounds for a W900L- Flat glass or otherwise. I have the same issue with the chrome pealing for the second time in 20 years and I bought the oem parts. This time I want stainless.
