I own this truck for about a year and few days ago I realized that the drive tires installed are of a wrong size compared to what the sticker on the door says. The door sticker says 275/80R22.5 but tires on truck say 295/75R22.5

How does this affect the truck, especially considering it's automatic? Should I swap to the correct tire size?

    Truck info:
    2011 Volvo VNL
    D13 with i-Shift 12 gear transmission
4x6 axles with 3.36 gear ratio

Makes almost no difference. The 295 tires you got on now are a hair wider than the 275’s. The difference in tire height is so minuscule it isn’t even funny. What is it like half an inch maybe?

I would keep the 295’s anyway because that is the most common size tire available anywhere and is much easier to keep and replace.

As long as all the drive tires are the same size it won't hurt anything. When tire sizes are mixed you'll be turning the differential spider gears and/or interaxle gears all the time.

I'd be more concerned about overall vehicle height if swapping to taller tires.

As others have said no problems. I did the same thing to my 2014 Volvo since it was more tires that size. No issues

275/80r22.5 should be Michelin size. That is the same as 295/75r22.5.

I think that your transmission is an I-Shift ATO 2612.

The reason I asked is because I know that tire diameter can influence the gear ratio, mileage counting, and considering it's automatic I was wondering if it's not messing with the way transmission shifts.
