The curtain materials are typically heavier and wouldn't really need a sewing machine, unless the fabric is fraying and requires a binding. Running the thread through the plastic knobs has to be done by hand anyway.

I used these for a 2012, so if you go this route make sure they're compatible with a 2020. You can take a small drill bit to create the holes.

I have a set out of a 2014 780, they replaced under warranty on mine, and I have no idea why? Some kind of a service bulletin? They left the old ones in the truck in the bag the new ones came in, I stumbled across them in my garage.
Unfortunately I'm in Nova Scotia, dont know where you are. Pay shipping and packing, one coffee, they are yours? -

I don't know how similar the 860 and 760 are regarding the curtains. But, I found several regular on line truck parts stores that had them.
BTW, in case you don't know, at least in my opinion, the curtains for Volvos are too delicate. They have these little plastic peg things that fit into the rail and act as rollers. Unfortunately, they are way to delicate and break easily. So, if and when you get new curtains, be gentle with them. Takes a bit of finesse to unfurl and stow away the curtains without breaking those stupid pins.
I basically made the whole contraptions obsolete by buying custom made insulated window sun shield thingies. By custom made, I mean made for a Volvo VNL760, not some generic truck window kind you buy in truck stops. Anyway, when I get parked, doesn't take me but a sec to unfold them and set them in place and when Imget ready to leave it's also quick and easy to fold up and stow away. I have them for the windshield and the 2 side windows. I think it cost me about $120 close to 2 years ago. But, I consider them well worth the price. They do a great job of both keeping heat out in the summer and keeping warm in during the winter.loudtom Thanks this. -
JoeyJunk and Dockbumper Thank this.
