I can’t figure how to open my upper window in my Volvo 780. In the Cascadia I used to drive it was easy to open with a knob but this one has a lever in the bottom and it’s really hard to move it and I’m kind of scared the window is going to fall out if I do. Can this window be opened or is it just to be used for emergency egress? From the outside it looks like there is a vent underneath each window. Is this functional or is it just for looks?

The vent is the only thing that opens. The window itself does not open.

If it’s the top bunk one or the bottom one in a 780 then you twist the knob!
If it’s. 670 you twist the top bunk one still but the bottom one will be a push lever. -

The 780 I drive does not have top windows that open. It's a vent with a lever that goes up and down. Up position has a C, down position has an O.
86scotty and Midnightrider909 Thank this. -

Does anyone know if they make an aftermarket window that DOES open? The vents are BS
Midnightrider909 Thanks this.
