    Been running into alot of old trailers lately. I would appreciate if someone could post the amount of time each test is valid for from the shown date.

    There should be a current date stamp physically present on the pressure vessal (Bulk tank) somewhere near the main control stand where you usually man it while unloading.

    I hope companies are not cheating by failing to spend money to make sure the tankers get blown.

    Of course the dates are visible (when they aren't its likely time to go) I'm more interested in the length of time each test is good for

    WAL... open up the Motor Carrier regulation on bulk tank testing...

    Let's open this up and read together shall we?

    A partial answer to your question is if a Bulk Tank has not had hazmat inside of it for a period of one year or more, it must be inspected.

    King pin plate is often rubber stamped ( UC ). There's no substitute for a solid pre trip .
