Hey guys. I’m going crazy. This trailer is 2007 vanguard. I checked the abs module with multimeter and i have 5 volts on both connection. Checked the wire before the sensor also gives me 5 volts. Checked the resistant om the sensors turned the multimeter in ohms i get 1200 on both wheels sensors. Lift up both wheel, spin them wheels to read consistency looks good from 1200 to 1500 ohms more or less. And still light on the abs comes on, this is so frustrating because i know is not the truck because on the other 2 trailers is not doing it. No any play on the wheel they are tight. Okay question is what could trigger that abs light after all ? I’m loosing my mind because of this
    Please help

If your mind is not gone yet read below.
Here's a video, while you've done what's in the video some of the comments are telling.
How to Test/Diagnose ABS system on a Semi Truck Trailer (youtube.com)
That ring gear should be allot cleaner! That can also read faulty if it’s so dirty
I've had many sensors appear good, ohms around 1200, ohms drop while spinning wheel, voltage goes up when spinning a wheel. But sensor was still bad
Best way to tell would be to use an oscilloscope but not likely you have one of those.
Find out how to get the blink codes from the light on the left rear of the trailer. He tells in the video but that may or may not work on your system.
Bendix sells a diagnostic unit that plugs into an adapter and the adaptor fits between the light cord and the trailer plug. But they run $400 - $500.

thank you for your reply. Tone rings were cleaned they all look fine. No oil coming out of the wheel seal. That light blinks 6 times then pause then 6 times agaain pause then 6 times again and after that stays on. Thank you for the link of youtube but trust me i watched all of them and read all the threads on google that exist :(

    Wabco 6 is YE2 sensor
Haldex 6 is 3B sensor open circuit
No 66 code, 666 code run away. LOL
I use a lite check machine for ABS/Lights

    thank you @wichris
Okay this might sound weird, but how do i tell if it’s haldex or wabco ? What is your suggestion ? bad sensor ? should i replace them both and start from there, also which sensor is ye2.

and yeah 666 sound terrible even to me lol.

The net says Wabco. You could also look for a tag if still there or a part number on the module. Should also be able to tell by the shape of the module and compare to pic of new part.
This link shows the YE2 sensor. See figure 1 on the first page.

Swap the YE1-YE2 leads at the ecm. If you 4 blinks then it's the YE2 sensor. Still get 6 blinks, most likely the ecm.

To add, 4 blinks is the YE1 sensor.

Okay thank you so much guys. I will try tommorow, now since i unplug and replug the green cable from truck abs light is off. I will have to drive sometimes 2-3-10 miles to come on sometimes it takes 100 miles. Will give an update to you guys no matter what.

    thank you

If you unplug and then plug the light cord back in and it works for awhile, you have a bad connection somewhere. Unplug both sides of the abs module and look for green/missing pin. That can give false codes. Had more than a few with that problem.
