    I've been looking at Van Eerden out of Michigan for OTR work, and what I see looks good but was wondering if anyone who works or worked for them has any info or insights?

    Thank you Chinatown. I currently work for a company out of Michigan, was just curious about Van Eerden specifically as it looks decent and I've seen it in the areas I travel, including where I currently live. I was just wondering if anyone had any first hand experience with them and how they operate, the trucks, benefits, etc. I've looked over their website but, like most companies, they can say whatever they want.

    I worked for VE in the early 90s , office furniture outbound from Herman Miller Zeeland and produce back to Vaneereden Foodservice or Meijers or Spartan in Grand Rapids , if its anything like it was your either going to run hard or they will get rid of you.
    If you can handle doing a produce mixer load with 10 picks on the west coast you will fit in nicely , to be honest id keep looking , that shiney hood aint everything.

    Thank you. I was mostly looking for better benefits and it sounded like they might have had what my current employer is lacking, but I don't want to run my ### off either. I don't mind running hard when needed, I do that already, but balance is nice.

    Both Van Eerden and Van Kampen have nice equipment. Both haul a lot of office furniture/fixtures out of Western Michigan going out west and bring reefer freight back.

    Iv heard they are pretty good anything reefer will have you running hard. From what I understand is that you will meet teams and repower produce loads of you are out west
