Vacuum Cleaner

Yes, I have a DeWalt Cordless Mini Shop Vac. Fits under my bunk, or in side box. Runs off an 18 volt DeWalt battery (same as their cordless power tools), comes with charger. You can find them at Lowe's.

 

I keep a shark hand held 120v in my truck ... Really good suction and about 30 bucks at wal mart ...downside is they only last about a year .

 

This is about the best one I found so far but it's kind of bulky and heavy.
It's a little on the expensive side also but it is very well made .

As far as small quality American-made vacuum cleaners this particular model is no longer made in USA but you can find them at garage sales and it is one of the best in a small size that you can find. They do make something similar in China.

 

I got a ShopVac that has a flat side to mount on a garage wall . I mounted it on the back of the right side upper cabinet at the foot end of the bunk . My 2000 watt inverter runs it just fine .

That's I what I have too, had mine for several years with no problems. I always knock the dust out of the filter after each use.
