V-Max Transport good or bad

V-Max transport out of Concord are they good or bad company to work for.Anybody know or talk to any Owner Operators working there.

 

This Company is at 196 Bradwick Dr. Vaughan,On,Also have found a listing for the same name in Zeeland, Michigan west of Grand Rapids.

 

They have moved to 150 Connie crst. Unit 10 Concord,On.
I have signed my truck on with this company running Canada only.

 

Well I would like to say this company is 1 of the best that I have worked for in a long time,They pay all plates all Insurance help you with fuel if you need.Canada only some LTL involved, so far it has been not to bad.$1.23 mile if think the rate could be little better,Other than that this company for a small outfit is a great place to work.

 

After being at this company little longer I see now that they are not any better than the some of the companies that I have work for over many years,They don't pay for layovers don't pay for faxes and I find that they are cheap.I would not advise anyone to hire on with this company. Their ad say no layovers ya right every trip so far it has been 2 or 3 days.So to rate this company now I would say(bad to work for)other than they do pay on time and have had no trouble with getting paid.It is all the BS that is told to you.

 

Here is some more info about this company,I put in 4 week my notice that is was leaving due to the high fuel price,Got stop for inspection at Nothbay On. truck scale gave me a warning found out they did not sign the ownership for their plates of couse I even missed it.So I called down after getting back from trip to Edmonton told him he needed to sign it and give me a copy, then he wants his plates back,2 hours after that got a call from the police saying they are going to charge me with theft what a surprise haven't even been home for 24 hours yet. 2nd call from police about 2 or 3 hours later asking me againg when I can return plates,so I said I will take back Sat. That was March 12 oh ya guess what? Still have not got paid for the last 2 trips worth about $11,000,Ya can take them to small claims court but still dosen't say I am going to get paid and then I be out even more money.So note to all stay away from Vmax Transportation current address is 150 Connie Cr. Unit 10 Concord Ontario this company is no good.
