Need some V-Boards,.. cheaper the better. Cardboard is fine.

I'm coming down 55 just north of Memphis right now. Be on 55 down to Jackson, MS. Then running 49 through Hattiesburg and 98 toward Mobile.

Does anyone know anywhere along this route that sells them cheap? I need 18 of them for a load I am trying to set up for tomorrow.

    Thanks.

Make your own. 2×4 and old straps. Nail straps onto boards. Thought you being a tight arse knew that. Lol

Trying to be cheaper than that,..(Wink).

But yeah,.. thats an idea. I'll need them cut down to 3ft lengths.

I'll probably never use them again. Found a load going 20 miles from my house, paying almost $3 mi. I'll do the 2x4's if I dont find anything else.

    Thanks Carl.

Another broker just called me back. $2300 for some skidded coils to Ocala. Hell yeah,.. sign me up. Almost $4mi.

Gotta dead head 3 hours and tarp,.. no biggie.

I appreciate the help fella's. I agree,.. 1x4's and cutting up an old strap would have been my choice. I was in the process of looking for a Lows or Home Depot when I got the call.

    Thanks again,

Stop at homedepot or Lowe's and have them cut the 1x4 to your desired lengths then staple old straps to them. That's what we did .

Nope,. I havent needed V-boards in 3 yrs. I gave my last set away to a CRST flatbedder who needed them more than me.

Was a load of roofing rolls. Rate was good,.. but really liked that it was delivering less than 20 mi from the house.

    Thanks again.

Single stacked rolled roofing is not bad at all, but if it was double stacked rolled roofing then that is a nightmare especially in warm weather when those rolls like to wiggle all over.
