    That's a good idea. I wonder if this company I'm leased to now would mind if I took a hole saw to their trailer and use it for an APU lol. But if you were hauling something -10F you'd have to "manually" "thermostat" it somehow lol.

    So, the cold air from the inside of the trailer is just naturally flowing down 12' of pipe into the cab? I doubt it's even minimally effective.

    I was joking. They'd be pissed if I cut a hole in their trailer. That might get me a black eye.

    That used to be pretty common, never seen one like that but plenty from the trailer to the sleeper. Then they went and started bolting lawn mower engines with small generators and car ac units to the frame. I'm not sure who should was first but some guy packaged it and the APU was born.

    Nah, you just use a 12v fan reversed to the inside and pull the air through. When it gets to cold, turn off the fan.
