I guess my real question is if you bought a Swift truck or something similar that had all the emission controls on it and about four hundred thousand miles would you be able be able to get another 400000 miles of life out of that truck to make it worth your while versus buying new with a full warranty. A new motor can run $30,000 easily so that cheap $50,000 truck could turn into an $80,000 truck really easy if there wasn't a warranty to cover that.

Does anyone have experience buying Used Truck(s) from Schneider? The trucks are posted on their website Schneidertrucks.com with prices. In looking and talking to them, they seem legit. Their prices are very good. The sales rep I talked to said they are well maintained and they go through an extensive checklist (Annual Vehicle Inspection) before pickup. They have some trucks that have a warranty, but most do not. I know their trucks are governed, so the trucks haven't been beaten on. Thoughts?

Not so long ago, getting their gliders was in fashion. Maybe there are some left...I'd rather get a used glider than their used DPF/DEF Cascadias.

I have one, 2011 Cascadia. Bought it with 725k on it and now it's got 867k. Including tires I've put about $14k in it over the course of a year and a half. They don't go through a very good check before sale. At least mine didn't. Clutch was out in mine when I bought it. They wouldn't let you take it off the lot to test drive. I bobtailed it 800 miles home. First load is when I realized clutch was toast. They wouldn't fix it or help with the cost. It is what it is. Is been a good truck overall though & I bought it for $29k.

I just bought a used Swift O/O truck, 2014 KW T660 with 400k miles on it. Hopefully it will serve me just as good as the old Schneider truck did.

HAHA. That was pretty funny. I didn’t watch your video though, cause they are always like 3 minutes long and the part your trying to make your point about is only 10 seconds or so.
Can’t you learn to edit your videos?
