Dell claims it will stabilize voltage, not the wave. Sine wave is, basically, Hertz. A 'pure sine' inverter very closely replicates the 'waves' in which AC current flows while a 'modified sine' just gets it close enough so most electronics will operate with few issues.

Sounds kind of out there to me.
It might help round out square modified sine wave but I'm sure it's nowhere near as good as a "true" or "pure sine wave" inverter.

Come to think of it what am I saying a "line conditioner" you mean an APC high/low voltage protection or a battery backup whatever they call them nowadays.
Those won't even work with inverters at all ! Because they consider inverter power and small generator power too dirty.

Eh, I rather have a Inverter that is native Sine Wave, in fact I had one on the rig once upon a time.

I use AVR 1500 Cyberpower Floor Batteries that either boosts voltage to proper during brownouts or support the computer during complete power failures long enough for a orderly shut down. Probably going on 15 years with them things, on our 5th one so far. Go through one a average of every three years.

Computers like the one I built under this table are horribly sensitive to dirty power. Try to feed it that and it wont boot as a self protection measure.

I’ve had really good luck with TrippLite products... they just replaced three surge protectors that were like 10 years old when they took a hit and sacrificed themselves for my electronics at home.

I’d maybe go to there website for more info as all I can see on dell is the name, photo, and price.

And I too would probably prefer a pure sine option to trying to clean up a modified sine... it might be possible and might work but maybe not.

What are you trying to do?

Fix the modified sine wave to make it place nice with your electronics?

    It won't work.

A modified sine wave inverter is a dirty inverter with minimal filtering and a cheap way to get the voltage up from 12 to 115/120 volts.

If you want something good that will protect your electronics, get a pure sine wave inverter, it is ... well as pure as the power line frequency can be - sometimes better.

A side note - I don't get some of you guys who buy these inverters, hook it up to the batteries and then start the truck, expecting it to be fine. This is how you shorten the life of the electronics and the inverter.

TURN THE INVERTER OFF WHEN YOU START YOUR TRUCK.

    Company truck, their inverter.

After further searching, I found an article written by someone who seems to know what they're talking about. He explicitly says NOT to use line conditioners with inverters. If anyone is interested:
