Scheduled for orientation. What is the road test and backing test like? Been out of trucking for about a year and a half. Not really worried about the road test, but my backing may be a little rusty. Is it still policy that if you fail backing they will send you out with a trainer for two weeks and not automatically send you home? Also, whats the motel like in West Memphis. What kind of food do they give you there? Only breakfast and lunch or all three?
Looking forward to getting back in a drivers seat. I was out of trucking because of a blood pressure issue and was miserable not being on the road. Also, what kind of equipment are they assigning now-a-days?

Road test is easy , a couple of tight turns and they give you a lot of time to back . West Memphis is probably gonna be one of the ones next to terminal, you will more than likely have a roommate unless you pay the upgrade fee and I'm sure glad I did . I found a cheap flight out there screw the Greyhound. Good luck out there!

They were passing guys who barely knew how to drive , I guess they figure you will learn with your trainer.
