USA truck orientation and road test in West Memphis

When I was there, 3 guys failed backing. They pulled them aside later that day, gave them a little training/help and they all three passed and finished orientation with everyone else, got in a truck and went solo. Breakfast at hotel, lunch was something different every day. Equipment was a lot of pro stars, some frieghtliners and a few Kenworths. This was a year ago.

 

are they doing orientation in Memphis now? was only in Van Buren, Arkansas.

 

Road test is easy , a couple of tight turns and they give you a lot of time to back . West Memphis is probably gonna be one of the ones next to terminal, you will more than likely have a roommate unless you pay the upgrade fee and I'm sure glad I did . I found a cheap flight out there screw the Greyhound. Good luck out there!

 

You should do good at backing. Its still a piece of cake my brother go for the goal

 

Yea if you fail backing test they send u out with trainer 1-2 wks ..road test not that bad just couple left and right turns couple miles on highway the guy does road test is lay back relax kind of guy down earth they give you 15min on backing. If you hav smart phone go under goole maps with satellite ur see two trailers with blue barrells that where u back in at. I did a 45 n got right in there other then that there nothing to wrry about your.ll be fine

 

They were passing guys who barely knew how to drive , I guess they figure you will learn with your trainer.
