I have to go to Herndon VA and will be coming into Harrisburg PA. Can I run 15 South all the way and then go across from Leedsburg VA> I haven;t been to that part of the world in over 7 years and my spidey senses tell me there may be an issue south of Frederick.
Thanks in advance for your help.

You can't be over 65' from Va line to Haymarket, Va

I use to run VA-7 to US-340 to US-15 and up to US-30 east when I delivered in Lancaster, PA area.
The only thing is the US-340 bridge across the Potomoc is restricted. I forget what. Seems like it what 65,000. All the trucks would run it though. I even passed bears before nearby. I think because it's on the state line nobody bothers. I use to drive fast before it collapsed under me.
I'm not sure of the US-15 bridge which is the next one down river. US-15 is not a designated truck route in VA except in bits and pieces
I would run I-81 South to I-70 East to I-270 East to I-495. Either take the 267 toll or run VA-7 across -
Thanks for all your replies.
First trip I ran down 15 from Harrisburg, picked up 340 and then Route 7. There;s no weight/length restrictions on this route and my travel time was 3:15.
Second trip I ran down from from Harrisburg, in I-270, around 495 and in 123 to 606 and my travel time was 2:45.
The signs on Route 7 # Leedsburg indicate Route 15 is restricted to a Maximum Gross Weight of 10,000 Lbs. No overall/trailer length was noted on the sign.
