I work for US Foods now, but have not heard anything about Baltimore, other than they are another union yard like Buffalo.

I doubt Sysco goes on strike, food service companies HATE disruptions to deliveries. it will be settled before anything happens.

in the carolinas sysco and us foods get paid per piece and per mile. im not sure what it comes out to for us foods on payday but i was talking to a sysco driver and he showed me his paystub and he was bringing home over 1200 a week and that was in the winter so i know sysco pays good and know for sure they have great benefits.the company i work for is owned by sysco so i have same benefits just different pay

yep, both companies are attempting to go to pay for performance across the board. we are still paid by the hour in buffalo, but we will see how long that lasts. we make very good money, but it doesn't feel so special after a bad day, hahaha.

I take it you drive for sygma?
