I'm doing something else and out of the blue UPS calls and calls on an app I did last spring needing holiday temps, but when I call the info number no one answers. What's the typical rate for that work? If it's good pay for three months I might be tempted.

Also, do they convert temps to full-time very often? Or is it a dead end for all at the end of the year?

If you’re talking about package delivery, I agree with Hulld. Find a better phone number if it’s for trailer drivers. There are opportunities because of retirements etc. it’s good money, if you can live with their rules and bs.

it was for package car helper, guessing more people know the game and it gets harder.

Find a better phone number. Think the pay is decent, especially if you can get some overtime. It’s definitely a grind. But you’ll never know unless you try to at least call someone. If you see a package car driver, he can probably tell you more. Or try this:

I hope you realize that if by some odd chance you do get hired full-time  you'll drop down to the beginning payrate at $18.75. Plus, they have no A/C in them delivery vans.

Something to think about if you're working in AZ. :angry4:

I saw this ad posted in my area last year around November. Not sure if it was for permament position or just temporary. I guess it was for feeder drivers?

If it is a driver helper position in a package car, don't bother. Go on the careers website and look for seasonal tractor trailer driver position. You'll get paid anywhere from $27-34 an hour depending location.
If they need permanent feeder drivers and you do a good job, they'll offer you a permanent position after your season work is over and you're let go.
If they need package car drivers they will even offer you a permanent package car position.
