I just saw that they(UVL) is hiring and I wonder if they are any good? From the previous posts I assume they are not.
Any other inputs on the company from anyone who works there?

I've never worked for united vision, or ace,or texas hot shot, or any of the companies that joined under UVL. So take this comment with a grain of salt. I was leased with Acme in 2005. I left because I wanted to pull a tanker in 2007. I can't wait to go back to Acme. Yeah, pipe can get boring after a while, but it pays the bills. I was looking at Lonestar, but because I've been out of truck for a while, they wont take me. Acme will because I was leased before. Now I am just waiting for a good truck to pull the trigger on and go back to pulling pipe. I was happy working there. I've talked to a couple of frinds that are still there. They are moving some freight right now. Good luck.

Anyone have any current insight about United Vision Logistics? I'm a rig mover and they move rigs. They now say they have terminal pay. That is, paid on invoices 24 hours after submitting.

It takes to #### long to get paid on loads.. If your at a commision terminal they have they own way of paying you..... you may think once a week nope it sometimes takes weeks for you to get paid on loads.. meanwhile every deduction is still coming out... YOU WILL GO IN THE HOLE!!!

Paid every Friday Morning.
Never had an issue as long as paper work is turned in and done right.
The company takes 27% off the top.
Problem is not enough work for the O/Os that they hire on.
If you got your own customer yes their is a LOT of money to be made.
Many of the contract loads are not worth starting the truck for. -
I've worked for them twice won't go into details why but both times I left got screwed on escrow at a $1000 each time can't get it resolved . It's like dealing with the IRS if they say you owe then your shrewd. They also didn't pay me on three loads. I would sell my truck before I even thought about working for them again

Bump
anyone done loads for baker Hughes ,Halliburton or fourchon heavy lift out of port fourchon? Ace, acme,American eagle,Packard ,united vision -
United Vision Logistics (Texas office) will book 2-3 trucks on the same load and whomever gets there first gets loaded. Off course they don't tell you that. I deadheaded a team 50 miles only to have the shipper tell me "####, how many trucks did they book for this one run? " I called them back and they give you all this bs and try to avoid me. At the end they didn't even pay a TONU!!! Stay away from UV Logistics / United Vision!!!!

Bad experience with Texas office they are a bunch of liers . Got a load in the morning from Denver, Co to Wyoming ,she said ( Jackie Rodriguez ) you know it's early in the morning you could make a local load then come back and go to Wyoming . I said ok and got the load Denver to Denver. After I did the load she said the load to Wyoming is ready only tomorrow. So actually put me in a load that nobody wants and cancelled the load I needed.
