Load is usually 2 hours if load is ready and broker didn't lie about pickup time
    Unloading is different story.

1 if you are in Obama supporters area or in area highly controlled by the unions be ready for 10 off
2 If you have trailer loaded with only one product it's not takes so long to unload as a deli load.
3 Why you didn't ask how long it gonna take to have BOL signed?

Load times are usually during daylight hours; unload times are usually midnight to 6am.

I prefer long haul reefer work because with erratic schedule, can get rested on those cross country runs and be ready for the weird hours when you arrive at the shipper/receiver. I did refrigerated trucking most of my career and it was fine and made decent money.

Walmart will not even consider paying detention time until the 4th hour past the appointment time is exceeded and there is NO OSD, and that's assuming you got your bills to the receiving window prior to appointment time. They aren't intimidated with detention threats. Odds are sooner or later you will get a prompt unload at Walmart, regardless.

It's also worth noting that dry van hauling is not excepted from the occasional 3 or 4 hour unload.

on average 2-4 hrs. I've never arrived somewhere and got immediately unloaded or loaded. There is always some kind of wait.
