I currently hold a hazmat certification and a TWIC. Many loads I want to haul originate or deliver at an airport where a TSA Certification is required. What do I need to do at this point to obtain a valid TSA Cert? Thanks.

Contact an Indirect Air Carrier. Get Security Threat Assessment. You can only get it from an Indirect Air Carrier Security Coordinator. That's the end of my knowledge on that subject. Best of luck.
Hegemeister Thanks this. -
That's what I was wondering. God. I had been checked twice with the Haz and the TWIC. How many freakin times do they need to do a back round check?

What is a TSA certification?
Under the Certified Cargo Screening Program, TSA certifies cargo screening facilities located throughout the United States to screen cargo prior to providing it to airlines for shipment on passenger flights. The program is a practical, supply chain solution, which provides security while ensuring the flow of commerce.

TSA Cert. gives the driver access to deliver and pick up loads at the airports. This is what I understand. Many good loads I find call out for "TSA Certification" .

Never had any problems using the TWIC card and having a escort at the airports.
Hegemeister Thanks this.
