This truck is whupping my butt. Got the drivers side to come out easy but the passenger side is winning. I've even pulled out my reciprocating saw and tried cutting the pin. Wife came outside and made me quit because I was making to much noise. There's not a lot of room so now im going to try and remove the entire hinge assembly. I've unbolted it from the bottom but it's not moving. Any suggestions? 20160517_214640.jpg 20160517_214635.jpg

Cutting torch on the bolts. Wet everything first. If you have a helper they can spray area while you're cutting. This will minimize surrounding damage or prevent any damage. Good luck

Put a bottle jack under the end of the bolt and try putting some pressure on it.

Air powered cutoff wheel is your friend my friend. If you have a large enough air compressor.

Call the fire department 1st. May as well get them on their way.

I think the saws all is the safest. Cut the bolt in between the bushing and the bracket. Remove the hood and try to drive the bolt out with the air hammer , if it does not move put some heat to the bushing.

Good chance the bolt is bent and is froze up in the bushing.

insertnamehere and Bean Jr. Thank this.
