Planing a load across Southern FL. Tampa to Miami via Naples.

Anyone know any good places down there to take a 10? Along highway 84?

They have a brand new one down there on the everglades expressway (formerly alligator ally) they are supposed to be getting 400 parking spots open soon. Truck stop on hwy 997 and 41 intersection. Truck stop on hwy 27 near hwy 826. Vero beach TA on 95 always has parking and ofcorse the flying hook, pilot and loves in fort pierce. I don't know about hwy 84. I'm a terminal to terminal driver. Be careful parking in winter garden FL. They don't like truckers

There is a truck stop at the intersection of I95 and I595 read the sign for direction can be confussing to find, I think they charge to park but I never pay. Or furter north you can park at the farmers market in pompano, they have a restaurant and next door is a fuel station with no parking spots

They charge $15 a night to park in the front lot, and $10 a night in the back lot.

It is a mess trying to find it, for sure. I'd make sure to get enough fuel for the round trip up in tampa, since fuel runs about 20-30 cents per gallon higher down there than up north.

there is a big rest area at the 35 yard stick with lots of parking and at the 50 yardstick there is the indian reservation fuel stop with plenty of parking and then in ft myers is a pilot but it is small and at punta gorda is a pilot just after the scale house with parking and plenty places to eat

That's the #### truth. On my recent trip to Orlando all my dispatcher found was a short haul to jacksonville from Orlando then deadheading up to John Deere in Grovestown, GA for a three drop load that had its final drop near El Paso. The freight heading out of Orlando was non existant.

My uncle drops in Jacksonville a lot and always has to deadhead to Alabama or Georgia to get out.
