    I'm now considering Texas as a new home. How is the truck driving job market in the Houston area? I'm a Class A driver with 20yrs. Would be mostly interested in line haul or tanker work. No OTR. I want to be home daily. What's average annual pay in the area?

    There are 100's of truck driving jobs in H-town. Pay ranges from 55k-120k depending on where you work. But be careful on where you chose to work. The micro management at some of the companies that run driver facing cameras is ridiculous. And every company that pays decent money isn't worth working for.
