Ok I'm still attending John Tyler Community College in Chester VA but I'm looking at my options.
Been thinking about and researching the following companies
Epes
TMC
Maverick
WEL
Any recommendations on any of these for a rookie?
Thanks, all info is appreciated.

If you are looking to go flatbed, have you considered McElroy TruckLines? I started with them right out of school and did pretty well for several years before I went local. You may want to check them out.

Epes and Maverick would be my choices out of the four. You are just starting out and need to get good training which both Maverick and Epes do provide. Both Epes and Maverick have high standards and are very good to their drivers. You just need to decide what you are interested in doing as far as van and flats go. WEL is good but my personal opinion is when one is starting out, the less things to worry, the better. I am referring to the Refers they haul. In other words, perishable and temp sensitive goods. In conclusion, both Epes and Maverick have the freight to keep you moving and have good training programs.
