Midwest-Coast Transport (MCT) CDL training is 3 weeks.

Paschall Truck Lines would be worth a phone call also. They don't have a CDL school, but might work with you since you have some experience.

What are your qualifications; you're not too clear on this thread.

Pride Transport works with drivers with a gap in driving.

I for one am confused. Do you have a CDL or not? Schools are not about experience they are about getting a license. If you have a license then just apply. You will then be given a road test. If you are an excellent driver you will only be with a trainer for a short time if at all.

So what you do now is apply for the jobs that Chinatown list. You do not need to go to their schools. You go in and show them your license. You also put down your job history. Here is the tricky part. You are suppose to list all of your driving history. They are suppose to verify that. If your old employers are not going to say that you worked there, then you are at a point where you have to choose whether to omit them. If you do not omit them and the company calls and they do not back you up, you will not be hired. So my advice is to not list them. List that time frame as unemployed.

When you show up to the job, they will give you a road test. If you do a good job on the road test, your assignment to a trainer will be very short if at all.
