Can't find a decent app or source showing motels with truck parking. Hotelsfortruckers.com and allstays.com and truckstopsandservices.com all suck.

www.checkincard.com Once you sign up for an account (free), you can search for hotels and filter by those that have truck parking. Although you should know that while some say they have truck parking, you'd think that they meant pickup truck.

It's tough. Many hotels that say they have "truck parking" (such as on allstays app) have room for a few bobtails or maybe 1 semi. I will first try an internet search "city, st hotel truck parking" and see what comes up. Then will look at those on google maps satellite view and see what the real parking situation looks like before making the trip.

I pick up the motel guides at restaurants and service plazas sometimes. These sometimes indicate truck parking in the ad when available.

allstays is great, I use it daily for truck stops and walmarts.

Edit: I don't how it is for motels, though.

Hmm... When I signed up there was no fee, but that was a couple of years ago. Back then, it was free to sign up, and they charge you a $4.95/night fee when you book using the card.
