Trucker Path Reviews

Too harsh, but most people leaving reviews have nothing but bad things to say about everything and everyone.

 

I haven't used Trucker Path in a few years but when I did it was similar to what you said.

In general I refer to this as The Pert Syndrome (if anyone remembers those commercials). A happy customer tells 2 people, an unhappy customer tells 200.

 

I use trucker path occasionally. I’ve seen reviews on truck stop parking and food that made the place questionable, but found just the opposite in person.


I tend to wonder if some of the responders may be tender powder puffs and in the wrong profession….

 

The only reviews on anything to do with trucking I find useful are Google reviews on shipper/receivers. There is actually a lot of good info posted there on how to get there, who to deal with (maybe better said who not to deal with).

All these reviews on trucker specific apps are full of crap like "I'm parking there tonight, are there any spots left?" People just don't seem to understand how stupid that is. A review is not a place for questions and it is not for the moment. It's to help people in the future.

 

Food reviews on any platform are the worst. We have a local pizza joint. Been around forever and ever. People complain that the pizza is square. They offer a few toppings. Nothing like a modern pizza shop. People complain about that. It doesn’t make the pizza bad, it just makes the pizza not right for your specific taste.

I only use Truckers Path to see the status of weigh stations if I am actually driving till noon or so.

 

I use the trucker path when downtown or an unfamiliar area..it will still send me down non truck routes. Probably use it less than 10% of the time but it's an added tool. Also use it for the Google Earth feature

 

"Parking lot had potholes the size of an SUV, the food is crap, the hot waitress is a tranny, hair was all over the shower and #### all over the floor. But they has cold beer. 5 stars !!!!"

 

It’s either people spamming one star for no reason, people complaining about paid parking, or leaving 1 star cause the shower is down.

“Got here and got charged to park. Greedy and worst place ever” even though 27 reviews before theirs says paid parking.

“Showers down. Worst place ever” I guess they think every truck stop has plumbers and electricians on speed dial to magically fix whatever’s wrong instantly

 

Lots of fat divas in the industry. If they miss out on a fatboy parking spot at the Loves, every other option gets negged.
