Everyday, great for parking and fuel prices (cross reference with Fuel Book), lots of other good info. I wouldn't use it for Navigation tho.

####, what about the Truck Map app? My rand McNally is acting up and this spare truck that I’m driving doesn’t have a working plug. I’ve got two portable chargers for my phone though.

The only one I know of that guys say actually works, and won't cause you to end up on twisted truckers FB page; is smart truck route. I run a Garmin Dezl 770i myself.

Truckers Path kicks their route over to whatever map app you have installed, such as google maps. If you use your eyes and common sense about bridge heights and restricted roads, I think you will be safe.

One problem with google maps is if there is a slowdown it will find you a “faster route “ thru small side streets and who-knows-where without you always knowing. I hate that.

I use the Copilot truck app. There is a 15 day free trial. After that it is $9.99 per month. There is also a yearly fee but I forget the price. It works okay but sometimes it does not know an address. When that happens I switch to google maps. With any gps be sure to use your btain, look at the signs, and don't simply blindly follow the gps. Any gps will eventually be wrong. I use a combination of tools, including gps, atlas, phone call to shipper or receiver, google satellite view, and google street view. Best wishes!

    "Fuel Book"?

Is it an actual book or an app? I hate trying to find the cheapest diesel a d trucker path always lies on the price.

Fuel book is great man. It accurately gives you fuel prices anywhere. You can set your settings to where you're traveling to find affordable fuel. I used it a couple of weeks ago in New Jersey, and I found a place a mile away from my drop point. Fuel there was $3.15. That was a big improvement from the the $3.45 at pilot and ta.

Yessir! It also shows the Pre-IFTA price, using the most current tax rates per state and province. I think I literally save $4-600/month on fuel using it VS calling around/following the company provided fuel solutions.

It appears to just use Google Maps to provide GPS for the TruckePath APP. On my phone it even says "route not optimized for trucks". It's giving you directions suitable for a car.

To verify put a route from Marietta, GA to McDonough, GA. It will route you through downtown Atlanta.
