Hi Guys,
my name is Patrick i am 37 years old and i am driving Trucks in Germany since 3 years.
Always wondered how it is to be a truck driver in the US. Must be amazing to drive thousands of miles and watch the countryside with all the different impressions.
greetings

Not bad....just better know all the regulations of each state.... how is driving a truck in Germany
Just passing by Thanks this. -
In general its not bad! Just a lot of traffic....and of course you dont have thousands of miles that you drive till you get to your destination. lorrys are different as well tho. In Germany are the same regulations in every state there is no difference.

Pay well over there?
-
Its not bad but probably not as good as it is in the us i guess. You got an hourly rate or a fixed one. health insurance, pension, etc is paid straight away you dont have to pay it yourself.

A lot off German drivers work for Dutch trucking compagnies. -
